Homemade Irish Cream

Happy St. Paddy's Day everyone! In honor of this very green and lucky day, I found this little gem of a recipe for you. Now I will just say if you even remotely like Bailey's you will LOVE this. It's so good, you'll want to keep a bit of this around all year. And of course, per usual, it's so simple, there's no good reason not to make it!  If you don't drink all of it before then, you can keep it in the fridge for about 2 1/2 weeks.

And for an oldie but goodie recipe if you're feeling like making some more treats today:   Irish Potatoes

Ingredients:
1 tsp instant coffee
1 tblsp chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 - 1 1/2 cups Jameson Irish whiskey
1 cup light cream
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Step 1: Combine coffee, chocolate syrup, and a small amount of the cream together. This will ensure that the coffee granules are dissolved.
I used decaf in case this is an evening treat :)

Step 2: Add in vanilla extract

Step 3: To a large bowl, add cream

Step 4: Add whiskey

If you're not looking for a big punch, just add 3/4 of a cup. If you want a bigger kick go on an add more ;)
Step 5: Add Condensed Milk

Step 6: Mix well for about a minute until everything is combined and smooth

Step 7: Pour into large bottle and refrigerate for a few hours

Enjoy!!!
